Block Management
On the completion of a development, ownership of the common areas of the development is vested in the Management Company formed for this purpose. The owners usually become shareholders in this company. The group as a whole will elect directors and often a committee to deal with any management issues.
It is not legal for the block managing agent to let apartments in the block, as they have a conflict of interest.
Cork Letting no longer manage blocks which are managed by a management company but we do manage blocks which are privately owned by single owners.
